Nemesis
Rail was set up in 2007 to provide maintenance and overhaul services to
train operators and
private owners of all types of traction and rolling
stock.
We are centrally located in a purpose built rail connected facility at
Barrow Hill Depot Chesterfield.
This enables us to provide:
√ Easy access for delivery of rail vehicles by rail or by road
√ Lifting jacks capable of lifting vehicles up to a weight of 120 tons
√ Staff that are highly skilled and have experience of most types of railway vehicles
√ Fully compliant & auditable management systems
We can undertake work on most rail vehicles – Diesel
& electric locomotives, Mk 1, Mk2 & Mk 3 coaching stock,
multiple units &
freight vehicles.

Work for mainline operators includes
• MK3 RFM overhaul for the Arriva Trains operated Cardiff – Holyhead service introduced by the Welsh Assembly
• MK3 coach bogie overhaul for coaches operating with Virgin Trains West Coast
• Return to service, repairs and repaints on MK2 coaches for Cargo-D
• Maintenance service for Cargo-D on MK2 & Mk3 coaches
• Maintenance services on MK2 & Mk3 coaches for DBS
• Maintenance service for various train operators on class 47 and 57 locomotives & Mk2 & Mk3 coaches
• Wagon repairs for Freightliner
• Repairs to Mk2 vehicles and preparation for shipment abroad for HSBC Rail
• Supply of locomotives for infrastructure testing on Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL)
• Supply of locomotives to various train operators
Work for HERITAGE RAILWAYS
• We can undertake any level of work on heritage rail vehicles ranging from repaints to complete overhaul
• We can also offer on site repairs and maintenance to suit customers individual requirements
